In fact 72% of the surface of our world is covered in water which is uninhabited and much of it is easily within our technological and economic reach for colonization. This represents a massive economic and social opportunity.

We believe that we are in the early pioneering days of a revolutionary new way of living and that entirely new industries will be born as civilization starts expanding into the sea.

We will start construction of the first full sized SeaPod home in January 2020.

We are looking for promising entrepreneurs, aquapreneurs, technology enthusiasts, electronics hackers, marine biologists and other people that are passionate about developing new products and services that a city on the ocean would need. You can participate remotely or be part of our Blue Economy Incubator Residential Program where you will be surrounded with like minded people.

You can participate as an entrepreneur or an intern (residential or remote):
1. Entrepreneurs that have a complimentary business idea that we approve can come with in a supportive environment with a team that is actually building solutions where you can test your product or service. Our cost price per person for this program is $900/month including food, lodging, made service and guidance. Limited sponsorships may be available from the Seasteading Institute for projects that they approve.
2. Interns that would like to work on projects that we want to develop will be provided with lodging and food and materials and you will earn credits towards partial ownership of an income producing SeaPod vacation rental.
3. Remote interns that would like to work on projects that we want to develop will earn credits towards partial ownership of an income producing SeaPod vacation rental.

1. Smart home sensors using Arduino & Raspberry Pi and software developers for these platforms. We have over 150 smart home projects that need to be developed including building smart showers, smart glass that works as a window/computer touch screen and wave/weather sensors and many more.

2. Water Saving Technology like the Showerloop & Nebia

3. Marine Biologists to help study and build coral reef restoration projects

4. Hydroponic/Aquaponics and grow walls

5. 3D Printing Enthusiasts (we have one of the largest 3D printing robots in the world measuring 20' x 8' x 8'

6. Drone Enthusiasts for building aerial delivery service drones and aquatic observation drones.

February 3, 2019 Launch of Early Prototype

We have already launched an early prototype. It was a built as a proof of principle for several engineering concepts. It was also a breakthrough in private collaboration which achieved for the first time a working model of a seastead floating in international waters that could be built at a reasonable and affordable price.

We have completely redesigned the internal and external esthetics for a consumer model that we are now ready to put into production.
